On Sunday, the Turkish Embassy in Morocco’s capital Rabat published a video documenting moments from the official reception it hosted to mark the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye. Members of the diplomatic corps, Moroccan state officials, businesspeople, academics and Moroccan guests attended, along with Turkish citizens.
The embassy expressed its pleasure at sharing these moments and congratulated people on the Republic Day of Türkiye, celebrated every year on October 29.
A garden illuminated in red

The video shows the reception garden illuminated in red, with tables decorated with red and white ribbons. Staff in traditional costumes served guests red beverages. The event also featured a photography exhibition, a traditional archery demonstration and Turkish folk dances performed on stage by an ensemble in colorful costumes. Signs for the Turkish Yunus Emre Institute were also visible at the venue.
Words between the two flags
Speeches were delivered from a platform beside which the Moroccan and Turkish flags had been placed, before guests headed to the buffet and watched the artistic performances.
