In Syria’s southern Suwayda province, explosive-laden unmanned aerial vehicles targeted posts belonging to the internal security forces in the western countryside.
The attack took place Tuesday evening and was carried out by groups described as outlawed. Initial statements provided no information on whether anyone was killed or on the damage caused.

On October 2, groups described as outlawed also opened fire on posts belonging to the internal security forces and on homes in the Al-Mazraa area.

The latest incident occurred about a month and a half after four security personnel were injured in attacks said to have been carried out on August 31 in Suwayda’s western countryside.
