No oil remains for generators at Gaza hospitals
The Gaza Strip Health Ministry announced that stocks of the oil needed to operate electricity generators at hospitals had run out. The ministry warned that the remaining generators could also stop because of Israeli restrictions on the entry of operating and maintenance supplies into Gaza.
According to the ministry, the depletion of the oil has created a crisis that could halt the work of vital and life-saving departments at hospitals.

Seventy percent of generators out of service
In a statement on September 16, the Health Ministry announced that 70 percent of the electricity generators in hospitals were not operating because of shortages of fuel, oil and spare parts.
The ministry said the remaining generators were operating under complex engineering and technical conditions, adding that the depletion of the oil could cause "immediate mechanical failure and wear" in the devices.
