The Istanbul Governor’s Office announced traffic measures for the 103rd anniversary celebrations of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye. The official parade will be held on Vatan Avenue on Thursday, October 29, while the rehearsal will take place on Saturday, October 24, due to the public employee selection exam scheduled for Sunday, October 25.
The roads will be closed on both days from 05:45 until the end of the program. The closures will include the entrances to Vatan Avenue (Adnan Menderes Street) from the northern and southern sides of the D-100 highway, from the Edirnekapı area and several connecting streets, as well as Atatürk Avenue and Hal Road toward the south.

Drivers can use Turgut Özal Millet Street, Fevzi Paşa Street, Atatürk Avenue, the D-100 highway and Hal Road O-3 as alternatives to the closed roads. A total of 111 personnel will help manage traffic at 58 points.
