The U.S. Department of Defense, known as the Pentagon, released the seventh batch of documents, videos and photographs related to UFOs as part of efforts to make the records available to the public. The documents included a report about a black triangular object that three federal employees said they saw near a security facility in the United States. The report said the object moved at an unusual speed, while thermal imaging equipment detected no heat signature.
The new batch also included a declassified report on allegedly supernatural activities at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, as well as records of sightings dating back to the 1940s and 1950s. Some of the documents address coordination between NASA and the Department of Defense over the handling of debris suspected to have come from spacecraft.

The batch followed the sixth release, which came after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this year directing the release of government records related to UFOs. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the files would be released in stages and that work was underway on the next batch.
