Qatar is seeking to attract tech startups from around the world through the Startup Qatar investment program operated by Qatar Development Bank.
The program has two tracks: the START track, which provides up to $1.1 million in investment to startups launching in Qatar, and the GROW track, which offers up to $5.5 million to established global companies expanding their operations into the country. The funding is disbursed in installments linked to agreed objectives.
Visas and workspaces

In addition to funding, beneficiaries receive exemptions from registration and license-renewal fees, flexible work options, entrepreneur visas and subsidized coworking spaces.
Priority sectors include artificial intelligence, agricultural technology, climate technology and business-focused software, while the program remains open to all innovative companies. The support is not provided as grants but as investment, subject to specific eligibility requirements.
