Syrian Defense Minister discusses regional security and defense cooperation with Qatar
Syrian Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra held a phone call with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Saud bin Abdulrahman. The two ministers discussed defense cooperation and recent security developments in the region.
Syrian Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra held a phone call with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Saud bin Abdulrahman.
According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Defense, the call addressed defense cooperation and coordination between the two countries. Recent security developments in the region were also discussed.
The two ministers had previously discussed regional security and cooperation in a phone call on March 6.
Following the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria on December 8, 2024, the new administration continues its efforts to ensure security, improve the economy, and rebuild foreign relations.
