US Ambassador to Israel Huckabee defended the Israeli government over attacks targeting Palestinians in the West Bank. In a post on his X account, Huckabee said the Palestinian Authority should adopt the same stance as the Israeli government.
Huckabee claimed that Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar had issued strong statements against the attacks. Huckabee said that none of the armed, masked Israeli attackers had been detained and expressed his expectation that the Palestinian Authority would take a similar approach.

Allegations of an attack in Kusra
Huckabee alleged that dozens of armed, masked Israelis who had seized Palestinian land arrived in trucks in the West Bank town of Kusra.
He alleged that the attackers surrounded a house, injuring the Palestinians inside, while other Palestinians living nearby were trapped in their own homes.
Huckabee further alleged that the attackers left after the Israeli army arrived in the area, while the Palestinians were detained and beaten.
Huckabee also said that the Israeli government had condemned attacks carried out by Israelis who had seized Palestinian land in the territory it occupies.
