Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a written message addressed to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi while receiving Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty at the Royal Court in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The meeting covered relations between the two countries and opportunities to develop them, as well as regional developments and coordination of joint efforts on those issues. The contents of the message were not disclosed.

Those attending from the Saudi side included Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and General Intelligence Presidency chief Khalid bin Ali Al Humaidan. Egypt was represented by General Intelligence chief Major General Hassan Rashad.
The message comes as discussions continue over possible Egyptian military support for Saudi Arabia. Al-Sisi said on Wednesday that this support does not include launching an attack on Yemen.
