Fragments that fell after two ballistic missiles were destroyed in the air over Riyadh slightly injured a Saudi citizen.
Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense said the missile fragments damaged a house and a vehicle in the capital. Teams dispatched to the scene intervened, and emergency procedures were implemented.
Missiles destroyed in midair
A Civil Defense spokesperson said two ballistic missiles reportedly launched by the Houthis in Yemen had been intercepted and destroyed in the air. Relevant teams were sent to the area after the fragments fell in a residential district of Riyadh.
Houthis say they carried out six attacks
The Houthis announced that they had carried out six attacks against targets in Saudi Arabia on the same day. The group listed the Ras Tanura and Rabigh oil refineries, Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam among the targets.

The Houthis also claimed that the attacks had hit their targets, that air traffic at Dammam Airport had been disrupted and that Saudi forces had suffered casualties in a separate attack targeting a military command center in Najran.
Fighting intensifies in Yemen
The latest operations took place as part of Yemen’s Dawn Operation, launched by forces linked to the Yemeni government to drive the Houthis from positions on several fronts.
Clashes between Yemeni government forces and the Houthis have intensified in recent weeks as the Saudi Arabia-led military campaign against the Houthis continues.
