Türkiye's Ministry of National Education calendar for the 2026–2027 academic year states that the first midterm break at schools will begin on Monday, November 16, and end on Friday, November 20.
The last school day before the break will be Friday, November 13, while classes will resume on Monday, November 23. Including the two weekends, the break will total nine days.
The break applies to primary, middle and high school students, and is relevant to Arab families living in Türkiye whose children attend Turkish public schools. Dates may differ at private and international schools, so families are advised to check with their school's administration.

The first semester will end on January 22, 2027. The midyear break will run from January 25 to February 5, with the second semester beginning on February 8.
The second midterm break will take place from March 8 to 12, 2027, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. The academic year will end on June 25, 2027.
