According to the 2026–2027 academic calendar issued by Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education, the first midterm break at schools begins on Monday, November 16, and ends on Friday, November 20.
The last school day before the break is Friday, November 13, while classes resume on Monday, November 23, bringing the total break to nine days when the two weekends are included.
The break covers primary, middle and high school students and is relevant to Arab families living in Türkiye whose children attend public schools. Dates may differ at private and international schools, so parents are advised to check with their school administration.

The first term ends on January 22, 2027, and the midyear break runs from January 25 to February 5, with the second term beginning on February 8.
The second midterm break runs from March 8 to 12, 2027, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr, while the academic year ends on June 25, 2027.
