The Yemen army said it had carried out 744 precision strikes against the Houthis in operations over the previous 24 hours. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the army said approximately 200 Houthi members had been neutralized during the operations.
According to the statement, the strikes carried out as part of Operation Yemen Dawn involved fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, field artillery, multiple rocket launchers and sniper units.
Targets of the operations
The Yemen army said the targets included field command and control centers, firing positions, fortified sites, assembly areas for reserve units, Houthi reinforcements and supply elements.
The army said military pressure on the Houthis had been intensified in Taiz governorate in southwestern Yemen and that Houthi fighters had been pushed back. It said operations on the eastern, southern and western fronts had restricted the movement of Houthi reserve units and prevented the group from making territorial gains.

The statement also said approximately 200 Houthi members had been neutralized and that 90 vehicles and other military assets had been destroyed or damaged. In military terminology, the expression "neutralization" refers to putting combatants out of action, including by killing or wounding them.
Conflict in Yemen
The conflict in Yemen continues between the Houthis and forces linked to Yemen's internationally recognized government, which is supported by a Saudi Arabia-led coalition.
The Houthis seized the capital Sana'a and much of northern Yemen in 2014.
