Speaking to the Turkish platform GDH during her visit to Türkiye, Al-Zouba said, "Türkiye is one of the key pillars of regional security," adding, "We are grateful for the support Ankara provides to efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in Yemen."
She said that "Ankara's political weight and initiatives such as the Mecca Alliance contribute to achieving genuine and sustainable peace in Yemen."

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan received Al-Zouba in Istanbul on Saturday, in her first visit to Türkiye since taking office last July. The two sides discussed developments in Yemen and the region, as well as the Houthi group's escalation, according to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
Al-Zouba is the first woman to serve as Yemen's foreign minister.
