UAE foreign trade minister attends Türkiye Embassy Republic Day reception
UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi attended a reception hosted by Türkiye’s embassy in Abu Dhabi to mark the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic, while the embassy praised Turkish-Emirati brotherhood.
The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Abu Dhabi held a reception on October 29 to mark the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye. UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi attended the event.
The embassy thanked Minister Al Zeyoudi and all the guests who stood by it on October 29, saying it celebrated Republic Day with Turkish citizens living in the UAE “with great pride and enthusiasm.” It concluded its message with the words: “Long live Turkish-Emirati brotherhood!”

Images published by the embassy showed portraits of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the reception hall, where Türkiye’s ambassador to the UAE, Lutfullah Göktaş, welcomed guests and delivered remarks for the occasion.
The reception brought together members of the Turkish community in the UAE, Emirati guests, representatives of the diplomatic corps and business leaders. Ambassador Göktaş also thanked Minister Al Zeyoudi for joining Turkish citizens in celebrating their national holiday.
