Türkiye's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba, Yemen's foreign minister and minister of expatriate affairs, is visiting Türkiye on October 24.
Al-Zouba took over the foreign ministry portfolio last July in a limited cabinet reshuffle carried out by Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi, becoming the first woman to lead Yemeni diplomacy in the country's modern history after serving as minister of planning and international cooperation.

Red Sea security tops the priorities
In previous remarks, Al-Zouba stressed that Yemen's security is an essential part of regional security because of its location on the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. She rejected the use of Yemeni territory to threaten neighboring countries or international navigation. The minister recently visited Jordan.
Ankara continues to affirm its support for a lasting political solution in Yemen based on constitutional legitimacy.
