Türkiye's ambassador in Damascus discusses preserving Syria's heritage
Türkiye's ambassador in Damascus, Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, met with Turkish academics and art historians to discuss preserving and documenting Syria's historical and cultural heritage, particularly artifacts from the Turkish and Islamic eras.
Türkiye's ambassador in Damascus, Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, received Professor Ali Boran, a faculty member at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, and art historians Fatma Özlü and Şule Demirtaş at the embassy.
Artifacts from the Turkish and Islamic eras
The meeting focused on preserving, documenting and passing on Syria's rich historical and cultural heritage to future generations, particularly artifacts from the Turkish and Islamic eras, as well as opportunities for cooperation in culture and the arts, the embassy said.
