Türkiye's Ouagadougou embassy marks Republic Day with two Burkina Faso ministers
Türkiye's embassy in Ouagadougou held a reception marking the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, attended by Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Stella Eldine Kabore and Health Minister Robert Lucien Kargougou.
Türkiye's embassy in Ouagadougou celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye with a reception attended by Burkina Faso's Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Stella Eldine Kabore, Health Minister Dr. Robert Lucien Kargougou and the director general of state protocol.
Turkish citizens, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Burkina Faso and a number of prominent Burkinabe guests also attended the reception. The embassy said it celebrated the occasion "with great enthusiasm and pride."

Photographs from the reception showed the hall decorated with Turkish and Burkinabe flags. Speeches were delivered before the guests, followed by commemorative photographs.
Republic Day is celebrated in Türkiye on October 29 each year to commemorate the declaration of the republic in 1923 under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
