Guinea-Bissau's public works and education ministers represent government at Türkiye's Republic Day reception
Public Works Minister José Carlos Esteves and National Education Minister Barros Bacar Banjai represented the Guinea-Bissau government at a reception hosted by Türkiye's embassy to mark the 103rd anniversary of the republic's founding.
Türkiye's Embassy in Bissau hosted a reception for Turkish Republic Day on October 29. Public Works Minister José Carlos Esteves and National Education Minister Barros Bacar Banjai represented the Guinea-Bissau government at the event.
The embassy said it marked the 103rd anniversary of the republic's founding with Turkish citizens, members of the diplomatic corps and “Guinean friends.”

The reception included a commemorative speech delivered from a platform bearing the logo of Türkiye's Foreign Ministry, as well as a group photo of several attendees in front of the Turkish and Guinea-Bissau flags.
Türkiye's diplomatic missions around the world hold annual receptions on this occasion, commemorating the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye in 1923.
